    awesome solution…

… to a very annoying problem. I buy these on subscription every month, and here’s why.

we have rescues with medical issues. One of our dogs has a leg that was broken and will never mend right, because it was left untended. Our elderly dog has arthritis, and is finicky. Both refuse to touch pills disguised in cheese or in peanut butter. They’re both experts at picking apart the cheese, or licking of the peanut butter, and leaving the pill lying on the floor.

These solve all of that. The dogs love the taste, and because of they way they’re made, it’s nearly impossible for them to pick out the pills. So, the dogs get a treat, and their medication, and I get back the time and annoyance of trying to get their meds down them.

The Best for giving your dog pills

My dog is currently undergoing treatment for bone cancer. He needs to take several pills a day for bone support and pain management. These pill pockets are the best way I’ve found to get him to eat the pills. I’ve tried wrapping pills in other treats, ground meat, and cheese, but with all of these he would find a way to eat the “coating” and spit out the pills. These pockets are very malleable, so they can be wrapped entirely around the pill(s) and they stick to them so it doesn’t fall off in his mouth. The flavor also seems to be very good, as my dog is actually excited now for “pill time” and looks forward to eating these as a treat.

I had been buying them at my local pet store, but as I go through so many, I came to amazon to look for a better price. Very pleased with the affordability here!

    Great for hiding pills

I love these greenies pill pouches. They make medicating my dog very easy. My boy is on medication twice a day and the pill pockets were starting to become expensive. I’m glad I found a comparable alternative to the pill pockets. My furry son, gets calcium occulate bladder stones so standard treats are out of the question. Our veterinarian recommend these Vitapet Advanced Strength Joint and Hip Chewables for his joint health, one every other day based on his size. Seeing how tired he was with carrots and how much he loved these I cut them in quarters and use them judiciously. He gets the joint health, treats and no stones.
